The COMVEC elasticated elastic straps are ideal for securing cargo in a scale of 1: 14.5 fast, reliable and true to the original. Thanks to the elasticity of the textile rubber band, the tension straps no longer have to be made to a certain length. The rubber band has a width of 4mm and a thickness of about 0.5mm. The metal parts of the straps (hook and ratchet) are made of the finest nickel silver precision casting. Nickel silver is - similar to brass - a copper alloy, but has a much higher strength. In addition, the color of the material resembles yellow galvanized steel, as is often the case with real tensioning belts.
The length of the straps can be adjusted individually. The scope of delivery includes all components for two straps: four hooks, two ratchets (each as raw castings) and about 0.5m rubber band of the chosen color. The rubber band is cut to the desired length, once folded around hook or ratchet and glued. For example, superglue is suitable for this. Tip: Put a drop of glue on the rubber band before cutting, so it will not fray when cutting. The rubber band can be stretched to about twice the length.
