Description

This fully functional and true-to-original twistlock is designed for 1:14 or 1:Tamiya® scale models. In line with the real-life model, the pivot pin of this twistlock can be completely retracted into the housing (retractable twistlock) and fixed in the end positions by tightening it with the lock nut, as is prescribed for trailers in Europe.

In detail, the twistlock consists of a cast housing, a pivot pin with locking ring, a groove and guide bush as well as a spacer ring and a clamping nut. All cast parts of the twistlock are made of brass / nickel silver using the investment casting process.

For mounting, the housing has an M3 thread on the back and therefore fits perfectly with the corresponding crossbar. Alternatively, mounting by soldering or gluing is possible. The scope of delivery includes all parts for two twistlocks as raw parts on the cast branch, as well as assembly instructions with dimensions for positioning several twistlocks for common container sizes such as 20ft or 40ft.
